Mellow time in India

India was our first big stop during this year's travel.
We went there for the first time as a family.
I also went there for the second time as a tourist, and let me tel you,
the 2007 and 2015, both of these visits were soooo different from each other!
When you first time arrive to a new country, which feels a bit exotic to you, doing even the most
basic things can be a bit tricky and challenging. Figuring out : where to sleep?
Which food is too spicy and which is to your liking? Which transport will be the best value to take?
Trying to figure all that surrounded by endless amount of people, noises and chaos can be a bit overwhelming.
But when you come to see your family, the accommodation, food, transport - is all covered.
So when we landed in Coimbatore, Pati and Tata were there, waiting for us at the airport.
One hour later we were already at home, having lunch and installing hammock in the living room,
to let kids swing as much as they like.
Unfortunately we were staying there only for a week. During such a short period of time we managed
to sneak one day for ourselves. Leaving kids with grandparents, borrowing a scooter and going to see
40km away Isha ( meditation / yoga place). It felt almost like a date!
Tamilnadu is a state which is situated very south, opposite to Sri Lanka, and it's full of coco nuts, flowers and tropical nature. Typical Indian cities aren't especially pleasant that's why going out side
of it, for that scooter ride felt so good.
Other than that we spent most of time meeting people. We were coming over to see Vathsan's 90 year old grandma. I loved watching her, as she was simply looking very old, but not uneahlty.
It's rare to see simply old people her age.
Indian people are known to have BIG FAMILIES. Our Indian part of family isn't that big actually, but since Vathsan's parents are hyper social, we did ended up meeting something like 200 people during our stay.... :)
Than we hopped on a plane to Singapore but I will write about it in next post
Stay tuned!
