Celebrating traditional festivals in New Zealand has always been tricky for me.

Obviously the biggest issue was with Christmas. Try to forget about white snowy

picture in my head and get use to Santa Claus on surf board....

It took a while, but finally I did relaunch myslef and last year we even had Christmass tree!

But what about Easter? Well, Easter is a little bit bland. It does not scream for my attention.

Don't get me wrong. I did have some really nice Easters in my life. The polish tradition of painting eggs and splashing water on monday is actually quite fun. Once I also spent Easter in Ukrainian Hucul Mountaines and I saw there the prettiest eggs ever! Is just that when I am away from my roots, I find it hard to bring back the spirit. The chocolate eggs, hens and bunnies, the hot cross buns, that's pretty much how much of Easter feeling I can get here in New Zealand.

So we decided to do what we seam to be really good at. We simply went for another family camping trip.

It was not much of a long drive from Auckland, yet the surroundings were amazing.

Nights were getting quite chillly. Funny, because sea wasn't and an evening walk on the beach would make you much warmer than just sitting few meters away from water, in your tent and under the blanket.

It turned out to be the last weekend that we spent in such a board shorts/ bikini way.

Following days we could feel already that autumm comming.
